A facile hydrothermal process is successfully developed to grow mesoporous Co0.85Se nanosheets on Ni foam.
The Co0.85Se electrode exhibits excellent pseudo-capacitance performance of 1378 F g−1 at 1 A g−1.
The asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) is assembled by using Co0.85Se and AC (Activated carbon) electrode.
The Co0.85Se//AC ASC exhibits high energy density of 39.7 W h kg−1 and prominent cycle stability.
