We measured NMHCs at downtown and suburban sites of Lanzhou, Northwest China.
We assessed the ozone formation potential of monitored NMHCs using Propylene-equivalent (Prop-Equiv) concentration and the maximum incremental reactivity (MIR).
PCA and MRL receptor model were used to identify dominant emission sources and their contribution to NMHCs at the downtown and suburb.
The ozone isopleth plotting research (OZIPR) model simulations were performed to quantitatively assess relative importance of NMHCs and NOx to the O3 formation.
