Highly-controllable core–shell SiO2-MPTMS@FMIPs were prepared.

SiO2-MPTMS@FMIPs integrated the advantages of molecular imprinting and fluorescence detection technology.

Ally fluorescein was chosen as the functional monomer rather than traditional functional monomer.

SiO2-MPTMS@FMIPs was used as fluorescent sensor for detection of Beta-Cyfluthrin (BC).

Core-shell SiO2-MPTMS@FMIPs had low LOD and it was 10.11 nM.
