Activation and modification of sepiolite in one-step hydrothermal reaction The most optimal amount of iron modification was determined to be 2.8 mmol Fe3 +/g sepiolite. The as-prepared sepiolite/20β-FeOOH catalyst exhibited outstanding photocatalytic activity for the Cr(VI) reduction.
