The g-C3N4 modified TiO2 electrodes are prepared for applications in QDSSCs and photocatalysts.

A 29.3% improvement in PCE is achieved by g-C3N4/TiO2 photoanode compared with that of pure TiO2 electrodes.

The as-prepared g-C3N4/TiO2 photoelectrodes exhibit excellent ability of photodegradation compared with pure TiO2 photoelectrodes.
