We describe the structure of all continuous Jordan triple endomorphisms of the set 16001529&_mathId=si1.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0022247X16001529&_rdoc=1&_issn=0022247X&md5=e7d2e0e57598aa9049c1b56689a7320e" title="Click to view the MathML source">P₂${\mathbb{P}}_2$ of all positive definite 16001529&_mathId=si2.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0022247X16001529&_rdoc=1&_issn=0022247X&md5=7d447cf62f280789fb3c7e416cdd3008" title="Click to view the MathML source">2×2$2\times 2$ matrices thus completing a recent result of ours. We also mention an application concerning sorts of surjective generalized isometries on 16001529&_mathId=si1.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0022247X16001529&_rdoc=1&_issn=0022247X&md5=e7d2e0e57598aa9049c1b56689a7320e" title="Click to view the MathML source">P₂${\mathbb{P}}_2$ and, as second application, we complete another former result of ours on the structure of sequential endomorphisms of finite dimensional effect algebras.
