Solvothermal syntheses of Bi and Zn co-doped TiO2 with enhanced electron-hole separation and efficient photodegradation of gaseous toluene under visible-light
Bi-Zn co-doped TiO2 catalysts were prepared by solvothermal route. The incorporation of Bi doping into the TiO2 generates intermediate energy levels. Bi and Zn doping showed the enhanced absorption in visible-light region. Zn dopant acts as a mediator of interfacial charge transfer. TiBi1.9%Zn1%O2 exhibited high photocatalytic degradation for toluene.
