The lithium storage performance of the electrolytic-carbon from CO2 was investigated. The electrolytic-carbons exhibit high specific capacity and excellent rate capability. A combined lithium storage mechanism of intercalation and adsorption was proposed. The effect of electrolysis conditions on the electrochemical performance was evaluated.
