A fluorescence and colorimetric probe for detection of Zn2 +, Fe3 + and Cu2 + in different solvent systems was reported. The proposed method exhibits high sensitivity, short respond time and wide linear range. This sensor can rapidly detect Zn2 +, Fe3 + and Cu2 + ions in real water sample.
