A sensor array system for recording of cortical surface brain activity on rats was implemented. Designed, fabricated and tested sensors were based on soft polymer microfabrication techniques. Cyclic Olefin Polymer was selected as substrate material for the development of the sensors. Real environment demonstrate the usefulness and suitability of the implanted devices.
