Comprehensive model of external convective jumping-droplet condensation on a flat plate is developed. Parameters studied: Droplet size, heat flux, position along plate, free stream velocity and plate inclination. Results offer guidelines for the design of jumping-droplet systems to maximize heat transfer and minimize flooding.
