A highly sensitive SPR sensor was constructed using MIP/GNPs/rGO nano-hybrid film for the rapid screening and detection of ractopamine.

The sensor chip generated combines the high sensitivity of GNPs/rGO with good selectivity of MIP, and could be used for other small-molecules analysis.

The MIP decorated SPR sensor chip which was prepared by the “grafting to” method showed good stability, easy made-procedure and thickness controlled.

The imprinted SPR sensors with enhanced sensitive based on MIP/GNPs/rGO nano-hybrid film showed a promising approach for rapid screening and detection of ractopamine in biological samples.
