Our results indicate a potential diagnostic value of NM-MRI to discriminate PD motor subtypes. The medial part of ipsilateral SNc shows the highest power to discriminate PD motor subtypes. NM-MRI provides new evidence for the neuropathology-based differences between the two subtypes.
