Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning is an important cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide. Because of non-specific symptoms of CO poisoning, a high vigilance in the acute care settings is required to diagnose CO poisoning. CO poisoning in the workplace is less recognized. Herein, we present two patients who have poisoned with CO at work but left undiagnosed at their initial admission to emergency department. We further discuss the importance of history taking in the diagnosis of CO poisoning.
