The aim of this article is to analyze the null controllability properties of the heat equations with memory. By a new Carleman inequality with weighted functions that do not vanish at pan id="mmlsi1" class="mathmlsrc">pan class="formulatext stixSupport mathImg" data-mathURL="/science?_ob=MathURL&_method=retrieve&_eid=1-s2.0-S0022247X16002651&_mathId=si1.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0022247X16002651&_rdoc=1&_issn=0022247X&md5=e50121789cea6ddd354161b8250f50d5" title="Click to view the MathML source">t=0pan>pan class="mathContainer hidden">pan class="mathCode">$t=0$pan>pan>pan>, we prove the controllability for the system with a located internal controller under a condition on the kernel.
