Acute myelitis resembling human T-lymphotropic virus type 1-associated myelopathy presenting as high-signal-intensity long cord lesions on T2-weighted magnetic resonance images combined with lymphoma-type adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma
We describe an autopsy case of acute myelitis resembling human T-lymphotropic virus type 1-associated myelopathy (HAM) combined with adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma. The histopathological findings in the spinal cord were compatible with those of HAM. There was no leukemic infiltration in the spinal cord.
