Of all participants, 17.6% reported risk of pain medication misuse. Cigarette and cannabis use were associated with risk of pain medication misuse. Greater depressive symptoms were associated with risk of pain medication misuse. Impulsive and anxious traits were associated with risk of pain medication misuse.
