Presents the AIRS and MOPITT derived CO climatology (2003–2014) over IGP. Observed the east to west spatial gradient in CO over IGP. Usage pattern of biomass-fuels in domestic cooking explains CO spatial gradient. Dissemination of LPG as cooking fuel would offer health and climate co-benefits.
