A comprehensive geochemical study has been performed at Ebeko volcano-hydrothermal system at Paramushir Island, Kuril Island Arc.
The Cl and S fluxes by the volcanic SO4-Cl acidic waters from the system are estimated as 82 ± 20 and 222 ± 50 ton/day, respectively.
A two-phase aquifer beneath the fumarolic field is suggested based on the comparison of the data with thermodynamic modeling.
