Flexible electrodes based on sputter-coated polycarbonate membranes were constructed. Laminates containing lactate oxidase formulated and active range optimised. Electrodes capable of measuring lactate in physiological range of pressure ischemia. No significant interferences observed in synthetic sweat solutions. Lactate directly measured in diluted human sweat.
