Deposition was studied for NaCl test aerosols and actual diesel exhaust particles. Deposition model was developed for laminar flow with decreasing wall temperature. The model performed as well as any other existing model in the literature. Choice of kp value of 0.5 W m−1 K−1 for engine exhaust particles provided the best fit.
