Serum samples from 186 cats were evaluated for concentrations of 19 cytokines and chemokines. Higher radiographic scores for DJD were associated with higher concentrations of IL-4 and IL-8. Higher orthopedic pain scores were associated with higher concentrations of IL-8, IL-2, and TNF-α.
