PBDEs, HBCDD and PCDDs/F levels in northern gannet eggs from Bonaventure Island decreased between 1994 and 2014. No temporal trends in gannet trophic position and foraging habitat were indicated by δ15N and δ13C. The 2012 eggshell thickness was 10% lower than the pre-DDT value. Environmental factors or poor female condition could explain this lower eggshell thickness.
