Layer-by-layer assembly of multilayer film under parallel electric field. fGO/EVOH film was prepared with diazonium salt as functionalization agent. Methoxybenzene groups on grapheme framework improve film's moisture barrier. fGO/EVOH film shows excellent barrier and good mechanical properties.
