Copolymer LB thin film successfully deposited onto a solid substrate. We investigated to the sensing properties of LB film by using SPR and QCM systems. LB thin film sensor element gives a large response to dichloromethane. Gas sensors based on this material very promising for industrial applications. This study provides some insight into the diffusion of small molecules in LB films.
