Injecting the viscous cements does not reduce leakage but leads to an increase of the injection pressure. The cements elasticity plays a key role to reduce the risk of leakage. The cement viscosity plays a key role to reduce required injection pressure. High flow injection rate can reduce the risk of leakage due to an increase of cement elasticity.
