It is crucial to identify specific antigens for tegumentary leishmaniasis (TL). We identified abundant and immunogenic proteins from species causative of the TL. Sixteen proteins were selected and their 68 B-cell epitope were tested by immunoassay. These proteins and peptides may be good to improve diagnostic of the TL form.
