Minding gaps on the skin: Opposite bisection biases on forehead and back of one’s head

A gap bisection task was developed to investigate the perspective on one’s body.

Healthy participants showed a cutaneous pseudoneglect on the back of their head.

An inverse pattern was found on their front.

Findings suggest a disembodied perspective for “looking back on one’s front”.
