The nn-vicinity method is used for analyzing a DD dimensional Ising model. The equation of state is solved for an arbitrary DD and zero magnetic field. When D≥3D≥3 the system has a phase transition of the second kind. For D≥3D≥3 we obtain a simple and reliable expression for the critical temperature.
