Low-level cationic surfactant caused an increase in flux with filtration time. Rejections of cations significantly increased after adding CTAB. More nuclide depositions occurred with increasing CTAB and nuclide concentrations. CTAB modified the membrane surface to be more hydrophilic and positively charged.
