Magnetic characteristics of the Halbach-type PMG at low temperature was investigated.

A four-bulk-superconductor array was set up to simulate an HTS Maglev system.

Temperature–magnetic-field effects on levitation force were tested under ZFC and FC.

Low temperature benefits to the enhancement of PMG magnetic field, while the maximum value happened at 138 K–120 K.

Max. growth rates of 13.4% and 21.8% of levitation force happened under ZFC and FC.
