Action Research facilitate reflection in and on staff’s own management of childbirth. Admission CTG over 30 min was significantly reduced after the initiation of the AR. Use of oxytocin augmentation and use of scalp electrodes were significantly reduced. The AR has developed new knowledge on routines and contributed to change of practice.
