Co-hydrothermal synthesis of LiMnb>23/24b>Mgb>1/24b>POb>4b>·LiAlOb>2b>/C nano-hybrid cathode material with enhanced electrochemical performance for lithium-ion batteries
A co-hydrothermal approach to synthesize LiMn23/24Mg1/24PO4·LiAlO2/C composite material in water/PEG system is present. The Mn1-xMgxPO4 precursor is prepared by precipitation reaction. Co-modified with Mg2+ doping and LiAlO2 compositing strategies play an important role in improving the electronic conductivity and facilitating the diffusion of lithium ion. LiMn23/24Mg1/24PO4·LiAlO2/C composite material exhibits a high specific discharge capacity of 151.8 mAh/g at 0.05C.
