Successful synthesis of OAPS derived N-doped nanoporous carbon materials, NNC.

NNC shows high surface of 1942 m2 g−1 and well-defined nanopores of ∼1 nm.

NNC exhibits high capacitance of 230 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 and delivers a high energy density of 5 Wh kg−1.

NNC cells show high stability with performance loss of less than 5% over 10,000 cycles at 50 mV s−1.
