Enantioselective behaviour of the herbicide fluazifop-butyl in vegetables and soil

Fluazifop-butyl degraded to the primary metabolite fluazifop rapidly in the vegetables and soil. In tomato and cucumber, S-enantiomer dissipated faster than R-enantiomer. In pakchoi, rape and soil, R-enantiomer showed a faster degradation. The optical pure product was chiral stable in the field condition.
