Pre-milled MWCNTs facilitate remarkably the dehydrogenation of MgH2 and LiBH4. Grain growth of MgH2 competes with the Mg formation in MgH2. Hydrogen can release steadily over ΔT ∼ 10 °C in the composite with pre-milled MWCNTs.
