Optical properties of aerosol types were investigated using the Mie-Raman lidar. The size and composition of aerosols were also measured to study the mixing state. The derived aerosol-type optical properties were consistent with previous studies Mixing among different aerosol type (e.g., air pollution and dust) was indicated. The lidar ratio was sensitive to the particle size, depending on the mixing state.
