A General procedure of multi-objective optimization of wind turbine blades with sweep and dihedral 3-D shape has been proposed.

Lifting surface method with prescribed wake was used as the aerodynamics performance prediction model.

A set of solutions improving each objective instead of providing a single solution were presented by the procedure.

Blade with 3-D shape can not only increase the power output of the rotor but also keep the thrust of rotor under control.
