Build a finite element model based on the Navier-Stokes equation and VOF methods. Waves interacting with horizontal floating cylindrical buoy are simulated. The motion equation of linear generator's translator is solved. Translator's relative motion, power conversion efficiency, wave transmission are studied. The maximum primary conversion efficiency is close to 25%.
