A series of novel 1,2-dihydroquinoline-3-carboxamide derivatives were efficiently synthesized. Propanoic acid linker has influenced the potency of anti-proliferative activity. Compounds 8d and 8e exhibited promising anti-proliferative activity. Compounds 8d and 8e showed good docking with tubulin protein. First report on the synthesis and in vitro anti-proliferative evaluation.
