The surfaces of CNC were successfully modified by silane coupling compound.

The physical properties of SPI films were increased by 53.0% with the addition of CNC.

The performance was further increased by using modified CNC (MCNC).

The above property improvements were due to the crosslinking network formation among SPI, MCNC, and EGDE.
