Novozym 435, Lipozyme TL-IM and Lipozyme RM-IM were compared to esterification activity.

Their performances were highly dependent on the alcohols and acids used.

Novozym 435 presented, in general, better activity.

Novozym 435 can be reused for 10 batches keeping more than 80% of its initial activity.
