Examined the LCST of PNIPAM aqueous solution under the influence of ammonium-based Ionic Liquids. Highlighted the reasons for single step LCST in the presence of IL. The ILs exhibit same trend on biomolecule as in the case of PNIPAM. Present work explains the role of chemistry of ILs in administrating the LCST of PNIPAM. The morphologies explicitly elucidate that the hydrated polymer state becomes dehydrated state.
