From a suitable groupoid G  , we show how to construct an amenable principal groupoid whose 1600189X&_mathId=si1.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0022247X1600189X&_rdoc=1&_issn=0022247X&md5=d44ff92d6b7e8a5de15ca562d89b4c40" title="Click to view the MathML source">C^⁎$C^{⁎}$-algebra is a Kirchberg algebra which is KK  -equivalent to 1600189X&_mathId=si2.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0022247X1600189X&_rdoc=1&_issn=0022247X&md5=718edea7c4c893b9e9b5c06630da8932" title="Click to view the MathML source">C^⁎(G)$C^{⁎}(G)$.
