LS-DYNA/ANSYS is employed to compute the residual stresses of [001] orientation at 980 °C by laser impacts, the residual stresses fields are described with four impacts, and impact experiments and structure observation are also executed. Results showed that the best compressive residual stress was achieved after three impacts, and the observed results were close to the simulated values by comparing the change of phase structure and microstructure before and after laser impacts.
