Electric transport in composite Fe–Ta–O granular film prepared by plasma jet technique

Electrical transport measurements on composite Fe33.7Ta9.5O56.8 nanogranular magnetoresistive film prepared by supersonic plasma jet technique are reported. The temperature dependence of the resistance lnRphs/BQ1.GIF>Tp>−1/2p> correlates with a broad size distribution of Fe-nanocrystallites. The differential conductance G(V) curves reveal a presence of tunneling in the range 300–4K. The shape of the G(V,T) curves below phs/BQ1.GIF>160K indicates the presence of Coulomb blockade.
