A tunable multiwavelength actively mode-locked fiber ring laser is reported.
Laser is based on polarization and wavelength dependent loss induced in the cavity.
Stable ultrashort pulses of pulsewidth 14 ps are attained at 10 GHz repetition rate.
Simultaneous lasing of 5 wavelengths each with 3-dB bandwidth of 0.2 nm are obtained.
The pulsewidth is stable within 732 fs and peak power fluctuations within 0.16 mW.
