Synthesis of new benzoisothiazole derivatives. They comprise a new class of isoxazolines synthesized in a regioselective manner. All compounds were screened for anti-cancer and pro-apoptotic activity. Four out of nine compounds were potent apoptosis inducers in cancer cells.
