Study on imaging spectrometer with smile and keystone eliminated

In this work, the formulas of image height in two-dimensional field about tilted imaging system of grating-based imaging spectrometer instrument are deduced firstly. The determined expressions of smile and keystone are obtained. A long-wave infrared imaging spectrometer is designed by adding an off-axis lens behind the plane grating to eliminate the smile and keystone. The maximum of smile and keystone are less than 8.57 µm and 13.33 µm, respectively.
