We determined multi-decadal shoreline, shoreface change and sand transport pathways in Agadir Bay, Morocco.

We used remote sensing, bathymetric and topographic surveys and a wave model.

Agadir Bay has evolved from one to two longshore sediment cells with divergent drift.

Erosion-accretion patterns largely reflect anthropogenic impacts.

The Agadir case study illustrates pressures of rapid development on coastal erosion.
